Admiralty. Rescue armadas. And unimaginable costs.

There’s so much we don’t know about the new streaming series starring Patrick Stewart as an elder Jean Luc Picard, but the first teaser is here to whet our appetites even more.

“Fifteen years ago, today, you led us out of the darkness. You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history. Then, the unimaginable. What did that cost you? Your faith? Your faith in us? Your faith in yourself? Tell us … why did you leave Starfleet, Admiral?”

By the way, this first-look teaser for Star Trek: Picard comes 25 years to the day after the seventh season finale and series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation — whose signature theme tune can be heard played on a haunting flute at the end of this teaser.
