X-Wings attack in last new Star Wars Rebels episode of 2017

There’s just one new new episode of Star Wars Rebels this year before the series goes on hiatus to return for the remainder of its fourth and final season in early 2018.

On Monday, “Rebel Assault” brings Hera Syndulla back to Lothal at the head of an Alliance squadron of X-Wings seeking to destroy the TIE Defender Elite prototype and aid her friends, who are trying to lead resistance on the planet’s surface against the forces of Grand Admiral Thrawn. But when things go awry, Hera’s mission must become a daring escape if she is to survive …

“Rebel Assault” brings the formidable X-Wing starfighter to the animated series for the first time, which is set before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Episode IV: A New Hope. The episode will air 9 p.m. Eastern and Pacific on Monday on Disney XD, and will also be available starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific on the DisneyNOW app.
