Grand Admiral Thrawn in Star Wars Rebels

The third season of Star Wars Rebels will premiere Sept. 24 at 8:30 p.m. Eastern/Pacific on Disney XD.

How much has changed for the Ghost crew since the epic Season 2 finale?

Grand Admiral Thrawn leaps out of the pages of Legends to pursue them, Doctor Who’s Tom Baker represents a mysterious “gray area” of the Force, and the show is moving to Saturdays. And that’s just for starters.

Kanan was left blind from his duel with Maul, and a fast-growing Ezra Bridger (with a new green lightsaber) is flirting with the dark side more than ever since Ahsoka seemingly perished holding off Darth Vader so he and Kanan could escape from the Malachor Sith Temple.

But I’m probably most excited for the “introduction” of Wedge Antilles. Or the return of Hondo Ohnaka.

How about you?
