Disney debuting new Star Wars: Forces of Destiny content this weekend

Star Wars: Forces of Destiny

The Star Wars: Forces of Destiny shorts released online this summer are getting a couple of follow-up specials with new episodes this fall on TV.

The specials will showcase eight new installments featuring Rey, Jyn Erso, Sabine Wren, Princess Leia, Ahsoka Tano and Padmé Amidala, as well as new episodes including Han Solo, Hera Syndulla, Finn, Maz Kanata and many others.

The first half-hour special debuts 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific this Sunday, Oct. 1, on the Disney Channel and Disney Channel App, followed by the second special Oct. 29 in the same time slot.

Talent from across Star Wars films and animated series reprise their roles: Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Lupita Nyong’o, Felicity Jones, Tiya Sircar, Ashley Eckstein, Vanessa Marshall, Catherine Taber and Matt Lanter, among others.
