PHOENIX – The CW drama series Riverdale stopped production on Monday to allow cast members to mourn the death of their co-star, Luke Perry, who died Monday after suffering a massive stroke last week.
Perry played Fred Andrews, Archie’s father in Riverdale. They had been filming for the show, shortly before his stroke. According to the Riverdale Writers Room Twitter account, they will be dedicating all of Season 3 to Perry.

Lili Reinhart – Betty Cooper (Riverdale)
I’m finding it hard to grasp that he will no longer be around to give long hugs and share his wisdom and kindness with all of us.
I’m thinking of his family. His children.
I pray for them to heal and find peace in this devastating loss.
