Doctor Who star records from home TARDIS studio

Peter Davison's home TARDIS studio

Could there be a better home recording studio for “these unprecedented times” (sorry) than what Fifth Doctor Doctor Who star Peter Davison uses? The interior even looks like his 1980s-era TARDIS, roundels and all. If he ever faces a regeneration crisis, he’s no doubt ready to cannibalize the door and wall panels like his co-stars Sarah Sutton and Janet Fielding’s characters, Nyssa and Tegan, did in his 1981 debut episode “Castrovalva” to help cut off outside stimuli.

Although Davison’s stint as the Doctor on TV ended in 1984, he still plays the Fifth Doctor in Big Finish Productions’ popular line of full-cast audio dramas, so no doubt his deluxe home TARDIS studio is coming in handy right now as the company and its far-flung actors continue to record remotely.

Davison’s home TARDIS studio simply wins the internet today.
