PHOENIX – Three new cast members have been added to the CW’s highly-anticipated pilot for Batwoman.
The show is set to be directed by David Nutter (Arrow/The Flash) and produced by Caroline Dries (Vampire Diaries), Greg Berlanti (Super Girl/Arrow/The Flash), Sarah Schechter (Riverdale /The Flash) and Geoff Johns (Aquaman/Wonder Woman).
Actress Ruby Rose signed on last year to play Batwoman. Now three others will be joining her.
First there’s Megan Tandy from Teen Wolf. According to Deadline, “Tandy will play Sophie Moore. After graduating from military academy, Sophie rose through the ranks to become a high-level private security agent and one of Gotham’s staunchest protectors.”
Tandy expressed her excitement at landing the role on Twitter.

Last but not least, there’s Nicole Kang, famously known from the show You, will star as Mary Hamilton.
Acccording to Deadline, “Excitable, talkative, and an influencer-in-the-making, Mary is Kate Kane’s step-sister and polar opposite. But what Mary lacks in a filter, she makes up for with her compassion for Gotham’s underserved communities, proving she has more in common with Kate than she thinks.”
Recent tweets between Johnson and Kang suggest the cast chemistry is already beginning to form.
