PHOENIX – The CW likes what it sees in two new shows, ordering three more episodes of two freshman shows, and nine for a familiar reboot.
Only a handful of episodes into their premiere seasons, All-American and Legacies have both been extended by three episodes, while the network has ordered nine additional episodes of Charmed.
With the extensions, All-American and Legacies will end their seasons with 16 episodes, Charmed with 22 total.
Meanwhile, The CW announced that a reboot of the sci-fi series The 4400, which originally aired on USA Network from 2004-07.
The show will reportedly be written and executive produced by Craig Sweeny and Taylor Elmore.
The 4400 is about 4,400 missing people reappearing all at once. The missing persons, all in their reproductive prime, disappeared from different points in history yet they haven’t aged a day.
The CW still has five series set to premiere during the midseason 2019, including new series Roswell, New Mexico, In the Dark, the final seasons of Jane the Virgin and iZombie, and the return of The 100.
