Yesterday we got a first look at the Doctor Who Christmas special, as well as a Doctor-driven teaser for the new spinoff, Class. But the young cast of the the teen-angst/alien invasion drama also debuted a fuller trailer at New York Comic Con, one full of tantalizing sci-fi action, ominous threats and references ranging from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to The Vampire Diaries that pay homage to a fun-filled pop culture past — and running, of course. Lots of running.
