PHOENIX – And the 2018 Emmy goes to . . . probably some Netflix show. For the first time in 17 years, HBO did not lead the pack for Emmy nominations. Netflix scored the top spot with 112 total noms to HBO’s 108.
HBO did have one shining star. Their show Game of Thrones got 22 nominations, which is the most out of any show.
