13 Days of Doctor Who marathon leading up to new season on BBC America

Now that the date is set for Doctor Who’s season premiere, BBC America will roll out the red carpet for the Thirteenth Doctor with “13 Days of Doctor Who,” a marathon including every episode from the first 10 seasons going back to the series’ revival in 2005. If you don’t have Amazon Prime Video, it’s a great way to catch up on the adventures of the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston), Tenth Doctor (David Tennant), Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) and Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi).

The 13-day marathon begins 6 a.m. Eastern/Pacific on Tuesday, Sept. 25 — culminating, of course, with “The Woman Who Fell to Earth,” Jodie Whittaker’s debut as the Doctor. The global premiere will air Sunday, Oct. 7, at a time yet to be announced, followed by a special encore in what will become the program’s regular primetime evening slot.
