E-scooter fatigue will have to wait until after spring training. Lyft has dropped off 300 electric scooters in Scottsdale and Mesa, Ariz. ahead of Spring Training Season.
Beginning Friday, Feb. 15, you can unlock a Lyft scooter for one dollar with an additional charge of 15 cents per minute.
“We’re thrilled to bring Lyft Scooters to Scottsdale and Mesa and provide safe, affordable and sustainable mobility options – all within a single app,” said Kyle Zuvella with Lyft.
The 300 scooters are the ride-share company’s debut in the Southwest. The scooters will be available from 6 a.m. until 10 p.m.
The Lyft app outlines the area in which the scooters are allowed to be ridden. Riders will be charged a fee if the scooter ride ends outside of the outlined service area.
