Denis Villeneuve to direct Dune reboot
Denis Villeneuve will direct a new feature film adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune, the author’s son has announced.
It’s official — Legendary Pictures has signed the very talented Denis Villeneuve to direct the exciting new DUNE series film project.

Villeneuve, a French Canadian director, is up for an Oscar for his work on Arrival. He is directing Blade Runner 2049.
Legendary Pictures acquired the film and TV rights to the Dune series last year.
