Steam ‘Wars’

Sci-Fi & Fantasy

What happens if you take Star Wars and re-imagine it in a Victorian world of steam engines, rivets and corsets?

This happens:

Hobby artist Sillof has built custom figures and dioramas since he was a child, and he never really stopped. His steampunk Star Wars creations have been sweeping the Web recently.

Some other subjects he’s personalized: The Venture Bros., Dune, Victorian Avengers, Gaslight Justice League and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

But back to Star Wars. Sillof and a chum named Glorbes worked together on a World War II version of the original trilogy characters, with Han and Chewie portrayed as a proper bomber crew and stormtroopers that are all too realistic, given the time period in question. See for yourself.
