It’s not too late. You can still geek out this weekend at CopperCon, the annual Arizona science fiction and fantasy convention at the Embassy Suites Scottsdale, 4415 E. Paradise Village Pkwy S., Phoenix. [MAP]
Guests include author, songwriter and performer Steven Brust; writer Greg Weisman, creator of the Disney cartoon Gargoyles and producer of the animated series The Spectacular Spider-Man on The CW4Kids; comic artist David Hedgecock; author MaryJanice Davidson; and Anthony Alongi, co-author (with Davidson) of the Jennifer Scales novels and a writer on contract for Hasbro. There also will be an art show, charity auction, a dealers room, RPGs and LARPs, a sci-fi/fantasy/cosplay masquerade set up like a fashion show and short film screenings.
