Tickets for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child’s Broadway run will go on sale starting in October, and fans lucky enough to snag tickets will see seven of the original actors from the show’s London staging reprise their roles in New York.
When the curtain goes up on the Lyric Theater’s Broadway production next year, it will star the same leads that originated the roles in London’s West End: Jamie Parker as Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni as Hermione Granger, Paul Thornley as Ron Weasley, Poppy Miller as Ginny Potter, Sam Clemmett as Albus Potter, Alex Price as Draco Malfoy and Anthony Boyle as Scorpius Malfoy.

Before you get a chance to buy tickets, you’ll have to register to try to get an access code. Registration will be open from Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. ET to Oct. 5 at 10 p.m. ET, and access codes will be given to randomly selected buyers who register.
Fans who do manage to get an access code will then get a chance to buy tickets starting Oct. 12 at 11 a.m. ET.
Preview performances for the New York show will begin in March 2018, with the show officially opening April 22, 2018.
Can’t wait until next spring to see the show? The West End production is still on stage in London. Or you could whet your appetite with the play’s official script, which went on sale July 25. (As opposed to the rehearsal edition, which went on sale last summer.)
