I’ve got to say, I’m really digging the animation style now. It took a while to win me over, but the look of the show, and the top-notch voice performances, is reminding me just a bit of what it felt like to watch anime when I originally fell in love with it all those moons ago. I’m not saying it’s fantastic anime or television, but it’s good storytelling (especially last week’s moving episode, “Song of the Petalars”).
