Syfy says farewell to ‘Caprica’ with mini-marathon

Sci-Fi/Fantasy Television

Syfy will air the last five new episodes of Caprica, its canceled Battlestar Galactica prequel, starting at 6 p.m. this Tuesday, Jan. 4.

Meanwhile, comedian Patton Oswalt, who had a recurring role on Caprica as a rabble-rousing late-night talk show host, is making waves in the “real” world with his recent Wired magazine essay, “Wake Up, Geek Culture. Time to Die.”

Not an auspicious start to the New Year for fans of the genre … but at least there’s another BSG prequel on the way for Syfy to cancel all over again!
