The finalists for the 2018 Hugo Awards were revealed March 31.

Up for best novel are The Collapsing Empire by John Scalzi, New York 2140 by Kim Stanley Robinson, Provenance by Ann Leckie, Raven Stratagem by Yoon Ha Lee, Six Wakes by Mur Lafferty and The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin.

On the big screen, Blade Runner 2049 (pictured), Get Out, The Shape of Water, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Thor: Ragnarok and Wonder Woman are in contention.

On the small screen, the “USS Callister,” episode of Black Mirror, clipping’s song “The Deep,” the 2017 Doctor Who Christmas special and Peter Capaldi swansong “Twice Upon a Time,” The Good Place episodes “Michael’s Gambit” and “The Trolley Problem,” and Star Trek: Discovery’s trippy time-travel episode “Magic to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad are nominated.

The Hugo Awards are named for Amazing Stories magazine founder Hugo Gernsback. There are many, many more categories, including novella, novelette, related work, graphic story, editor, artist, and fanzine. Some are below and the full list of nominees is available at the Hugo Awards’ official website.

The winners will be revealed when the Hugo Awards are presented on Aug. 19 at Worldcon 76 in San Jose, Calif.
