PHOENIX – Read a spoiler free movie review here

While many are worried about how the movie series is ending, many others are asking another very important question: when should I go to the bathroom?

With the film being the longest Marvel Cinematic Movie of all time, you’re sure to have to use the bathroom. The movie lasts three hours and 58 seconds, and after all the snacks and drinks you get from the concession stands, you probably won’t make it.

Truth is there is never a good time to leave a movie, especially one as big as this, but if you absolutely have to, we’ve got you covered.

When the San Francisco title card comes on screen

You will get your first chance to head to the bathroom about 30 minutes into the movie. This scene is about Ant-Man and it is basically Scott piecing together things that the audience already knows.

When Hulk is having lunch

After about an hour into the film, you will get your second chance to run to the restroom. Some of the characters eat lunch and this scene is more for comedy reasons, and it lasts about 15 minutes.

When the New Jersey title card comes on screen

This is your absolute last chance to hit the john. The scene is filled with nostalgic memories, making for a easy time to miss a couple of minutes.

The last hour of the film is absolutely crucial and you can’t miss a single second of the action. SO DON’T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!

Now if you’re like me, you’ll find other ways to not have to go to the bathroom. Some have suggested things like:

In all seriousness, go to the bathroom right before the movie begins, don’t drink anything during the film (especially sugary or caffeinated beverages, because they increase irritability of the bladder). Also, bring a sweater because as we know theaters can be very cold and when it’s cold, our bodies tend to tense up making us want to urinate.
