Variety reports that Jessica Biel (I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry, The Illusionist) is in talks to star as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Justice League of America movie. In addition to Wonder Woman, the movie would also feature Superman, Batman, Flash and Aquaman.Jessica BielGeorge Miller (Mad Max, Happy Feet) is onboard to direct. This would be Biel’s second comic book movie, after playing one of the Nightstalkers, Abigail Whistler, in 2004’s Blade: Trinity. If wrapped in the lasso of truth, I’d be forced to admit I’m not sure if Biel is the right actress to play the Amazonian princess. Despite that, I am excited for the film’s potential. A JLA movie featuring all of DC‘s biggest heroes is about as epic as it gets in the comics universe (at least until Watchmen!). I would like to suggest one addition: It’s just not the Justice League without a Green Lantern!

  • I agree Kel, it’s not the JLA without the Green Lantern. Lots of talking about this movie, but not a lot of talk about having the GL in it–which would be a big mistake. Also, I think Biel could pull off the Wonder Woman role. She’s beautiful, strong and would look GREAT in costume!
