PHOENIX – In honor of the highly anticipated Marvel film, Avengers: Endgame, Google has created this Easter egg for fans.
If you go to Google and search “Thanos,” the current enemy of the superhero squad, the usual results should come up. However, when users click on the Infinity Gauntlet icon on the column on the right, it will trigger a snap.
You will see half of the links to articles disappear one-by-one and the number of overall results to drop.
This alludes to the plot of the Infinity Warstory where (spoiler alert) a snap turns half of the world’s population into dust.
To reverse the action, at least for your search engine, you can click the Gauntlet again to bring it back to normal. Is it that easy to reverse it for the world’s population? I guess we will have to see the movie and find out.
Avengers: Endgame premiered on Apr. 26.
