Robert Picardo, who portrayed the holographic Doctor on Star Trek: Voyager, will star in a biographical play about the Gershwin brothers this Sunday at Chandler Center for the Arts.
Pardon My English: Gershwin By Ira recounts the success of American lyricist Ira Gershwin and his composer brother George in the first decades of the 20th century, and showcases an array of their work, both instrumental and vocal. It’s part of the arts center’s “Rhythms of LIFE” series, which celebrates historical artists.
Showtime is 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, in the center’s Hal Bogle Theatre. Tickets are available here for $26, $30 and $34.
