Still no trailer, but finally a synopsis for Solo: A Star Wars Story has emerged.
Board the Millennium Falcon and journey to a galaxy far, far away in Solo: A Star Wars Story, an all-new adventure with the most beloved scoundrel in the galaxy. Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo meets his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and encounters the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.
What do your porg-addled synapses make of this scruffy-looking Solo synopsis? It sounds like we may see more of the Star Wars universe’s riffraff than ever, along with some great character introductions and first meetings. And, could there be a Kessel Run on the horizon?
Solo: A Star Wars Story is slated for release on May 25, 2018 — 41 years exactly after the theatrical debut of the original Star Wars, aka Episode IV — A New Hope.
Set prior to the events of the original Star Wars trilogy, the movie stars Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, Thandie Newton, Donald Glover, Paul Bettany, Warwick Davis, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo and more.
