Are you Ready?

I’ve been ready since the first time I read the novel. I simply cannot overstate just how much this novel means to me. I like Ready Player One for its story, the pop culture, the nostalgia and the tremendous cool factor of the book. I’d love to interview Ernie Cline some day, or at least play a Dungeons & Dragons with him, if a conversation over coffee isn’t possible. What can I say? I’m a fan.

I enjoyed his follow up to Ready Player One, Armada immensely. So, imagine my surprise when he announced Ready Player Two recently.

I’ve written a few pieces here on Nerdvana about virtual reality and the book and I have another piece over on Medium. I love discussing virtual reality and how it will integrate into the future, so feel free to drop me a line if that’s something you’re interested in talking about.

My favorite part of the previous trailer was the ending: all the IOI employees run to their race cars, while Rush’s Tom Sawyer begins playing. If that doesn’t warm the heart of your inner nerd, I don’t know what will. Anyhow, enough of my jabbering. Here’s what you came here for, the brand new trailer for Ready Player One:

Ready Player One hits theaters on March 30, 2018. Stay tuned for more updates here on Nerdvana: helping you feed your inner geek since 2007.
