According to Variety, New Moon heartthrob Taylor Lautner is morphing from sensitive teen wolf to superhuman action figure.
Lautner, who almost lost his role as Native American werewolf Jacob Black after producers wanted a buffer best friend for Bella in the Twilight sequel, has been picked to star as a 19-year-old extreme sports junkie turned bionic secret agent in Paramount’s Max Steel, a movie to be based on a Mattel toy line and cartoon series of the same name.
