Paramount has released three images of Harrison Ford as everyone’s favorite adventuring archaeologist, Indiana Jones, in the film Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, due in theaters May 2008. (Everyone’s favorite except my wife, of course, who prefers Michael Shanks as Stargate SG-1’s Dr. Daniel Jackson. Pft!)
In this first image, Ford looks like the Indy we all remember:
But in this next one, he seems more like just a scary old man with a whip and a gun. And we’ve all been there, right? Here it is:
Finally, there’s this one of Indy and, presumably, his estranged son, played by Shia LaBeouf, making a no-doubt exciting discovery:
OK, so maybe Indy’s looking a bit long in the tooth for adventuring, but there’s still no one I’d rather have on my side against Nazis, natives and crystal skulls (whatever that is). Maybe not snakes, though.
