PHOENIX – It looks like Indiana Jones fans are going to have to wait a little longer.
The fifth installment of the Indiana Jones series has been delayed, and will not be released on its original release date of July 10, 2020, according to EW.
According to Variety, the reason for the delay is that members of the creative team have not yet signed off on a finished script.
Steven Spielberg is set to direct the film, and Harrison Ford is coming back as Indiana Jones himself, but both have busy schedules ahead of them. Spielberg is moving forward with his plans of remaking West Side Story as well as working on The Kidnapping of Edgardo Mortara. Meanwhile, Ford is a voice actor in the Secret Life of Pets 2.
The film has already been delayed once, but worry not, it’s still happening. For now…
