One of the most awesome films of 2014 was The LEGO Movie and one of the many highlights of that ultra-imaginative film was LEGO Batman. Next week the greatly-anticipated sequel of the toy-centric series is set to hit the big screen with The LEGO Batman Movie (opening Feb. 10, 2017).

To help build excitement for the new film, Arizona LEGO enthusiasts from Cactus Brick have constructed a large-scale LEGO version of Gotham City that is complete with many of the movie’s characters (as well as some rather eccentric add-ins, like The Simpsons and the Scooby-Doo Mystery Machine).

You can see this meticulously constructed masterpiece for a limited time at Tempe Marketplace (space #1234), near Harkins Theatres and across from the “Just Sports” shop. Dates & Times: Saturday, Feb. 4, noon to 9 p.m.; Sunday, Feb. 5, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, Feb. 10-11, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 12, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. See for updated information.
