Beginning Sunday, Fox will debut an exclusive three-part preview of the upcoming movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
20th Century Fox has created three 60-second spots, one leading to the next, which together will form a single narrative. The first spot will air this Sunday during Family Guy, the second on Monday during House and the last on Tuesday during American Idol.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine is a prequel to the recent X-Men trilogy, an adaptation of the long-running Marvel Comics series. The movie, opening May 1, unites Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) with several other legends of the X-Men universe in an epic revolution that pits the mutants against powerful forces determined to eliminate them. Jackman, reprising the role that made him a superstar, is joined by Liev Schreiber, Danny Huston, Dominic Monaghan, and Ryan Reynolds, as well as Taylor Kitsch, will.i.am, and Lynn Collins.
Following Tuesday’s broadcast of the final spot, all three reveals will be released on Yahoo!
And don’t forget to catch Jackman the following Sunday, Feb. 22, as host of the 81st annual Academy Awards.
