Poor Darth Vader. Nobody wants him.
The helmet, mask, shoulder armor and shin guards worn by David Prowse as the Dark Lord of the Sith in The Empire Strikes Back were expected to fetch between $250,000 and $365,000 in a Christie’s auction last week. Instead, no bidder met the reserve price and bidding stopped at 150,000 British pounds, according to an Associated Press report.
