‘Battle: Los Angeles’ – fact or fiction?

Current D&D Campaign Adventures - Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden

I’ve always been fascinated by the story of the Battle of Los Angeles, a fatal 1942 encounter between U.S. military forces and … something. Something that wasn’t the earthbound Axis that had ravaged the American Pacific Fleet just three months earlier.

The new film Battle: Los Angeles is based on the World War II engagement, albeit loosely. Starring Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Pena, Ne-Yo and Bridget Moynahan, the sci-fi action film hits theaters March 11. Watch a trailer below, and check out the documentary reel above provided by Sony Pictures.

  • Looking forward to this SO much…if purely to see Jim Parrack. And also seeing whether Ne-Yo can act!

  • Well guess what?

Yesterday I found the ‘almost’ same B&W still photo on a WW-2 Veteran’s page calling almost this same photo “Night raid on Bremen, Germany” AND in one of your stills in the video, off to the center right you can see a small circle of a very dimly-lit-moon at 1:11 minutes.

Well that is in the photo that I found too!
Night raid on Bremen, Germany, with the moon, only the camera angle has shifted or it was taken my another photographer at almost the same time.
