Springs Hosting

You know the hype for the new Star Trek movie is approaching warp speed when AMC Theatres is releasing gift cards featuring Uhura, Kirk, Spock and the villain Nero.

The gift cards are available for $25 each in limited quantities at www.amctheatres.com or at theater box offices. Customers who purchase all four receive a free display kit while supplies last.

Like existing AMC gift cards, the Star Trek cards are good for both movies and concessions and are reloadable in U.S. theaters.

“AMC has long been known for its industry innovation and we are thrilled to offer these Star Trek gift cards exclusively, which will provide guests with an instant collector’s item or make a great gift to celebrate one of the most anticipated films of the year,” said Scott Wall, vice president of national sales for AMC, in a statement.

Star Trek, directed by J.J. Abrams and starring Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Eric Bana, opens May 8.
