New Guilty Gear title announced at EVO 2019

Folks watching EVO 2019 in person and worldwide online were treated to a surprise announcement from Arc System Works. The developer showed off a trailer for an upcoming iteration of the popular Guilty Gear series.

The announcement was made by Daisuke Ishiwatari, creator of the game, on stage following the Tekken 7 finals. From the footage, the title seems to have gotten a visual overhaul, as well as transitioning stages. Ishiwatari was not able to give any further information, except that fans should be ready for more details in 2020. Watch the trailer below
