World of Warcraft Cataclysm logo

The new World of Warcraft expansion, “Cataclysm,” has become the fastest-selling PC game of all time. More than a third of WoW subscribers picked up the title, with 3.3 million copies sold in the first 24 hours of availability.

The expansion pack wrested the “fastest-selling” title away from its predecessor, “Wrath of the Lich King.”
