‘Super Mario Galaxy 2’ images to put you on Cloud 9

Classic Dungeons & Dragons back in print! - Available now @ Dungeon Masters Guild

Cloud Mario

Nintendo has released a slew of new images from Super Mario Galaxy 2, launching in North America on May 23.

Early art focused on Yoshi’s return to the franchise, but this time around we get to see the newest power suit in the plumber’s arsenal: Cloud Mario.

Much like the 2-D New Super Mario Bros. Wii, SMG2 will feature a helpful guide mode to walk players through difficult courses. Also, the game’s cooperative mode has been upgraded from its predecessor, with a new Co-Star mode in which a friend can support you as a star-shaped Luma who can not only hold enemies, but also perform the Mario Spin to immobilize them.
