Square Enix trying to buy Eidos

As reported by Kotaku, Square Enix — the publishers of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest — are doing Eidos a huge favor and offering to buy out the Tomb Raider and Hitman owners for 129% above market value. News of the deal comes as Square is struggling to get Dragon Quest IX and Final Fantasy XIII ready for release and Eidos has been trying to make a stable of moldy titles seem fresh again. Will it be a match made in heaven?
