Slime Rancher is an adorable adventure game that has been in early access for quite some time now. During this time span, a fanbase has been established and even merchandise for the game has been released. On Aug. 1, the tides will turn for this game and it will finally be released from early access. However, there is a lot more to this exciting announcement that will be music to any fan’s ears.
The final major update for Slime Rancher was recently put out for fans to play, and this happened mainly during E3. A completely new zone was added for players to enjoy, and it is called Glass Desert. It is by far the biggest and most dangerous area of them all, and has a lot of promise for the game to keep expanding. The new slimes included in this zone are the Mosaic slimes, Dervish slimes, Fire slimes, and Tangle Slimes. This is easily what I would consider one of Slime Rancher’s biggest and most exciting updates in its history of early access.
However, this is not the last we will see of Slime Rancher after its official and grand release. Monomi Park has a future in mind for the game, and this includes “new, unexpected content.” Considering their latest major release was so epic, there is a lot to live up to after its proper release.
Slime Rancher has been around since January 2016, and it certainly deserves its spot for an official release by now. Hopefully, the game will continue to grow and improve after its debut as a completed game to the public. As for now, we have an exciting Glass Desert Update and adorable plush toys to purchase, but when August 1st comes, things are sure to change.
