Demogorgon figure Stranger Things Dungeons & Dragons Starter SetStrangers Things’ new season won’t be here until summer. Bummer! If you just can’t wait to immerse yourself in the dark world of Hawkins, Indiana’s adventurous youth monster hunters, why not roll the dice and see how you fare against the dreaded Demogorgon yourself?

A new edition of the Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set Game, styled after the famous “Red Box” of old that would be so familiar to Mike and his pals, is coming out May 1 April 22. Co-branded with Stranger Things characters and a Demogorgon miniature figure, just like in the Netflix series’ premiere.

Demogorgon figure Stranger Things Dungeons & DragonsIn fact, you can play or DM the actual fantasy adventure Mike Wheeler was running in that very first episode, with pre-generated characters like Will the Wise and Dustin the Dwarf, as you investigate a mysterious castle and face the ferocious Demogorgon.

The Stranger Things D&D Starter Set Game, priced at $24.99 for ages 14 and up, includes a Stranger Things Adventure book, rulebook, five character sheets, six polyhedral dice, the Demogorgon figure and another, paintable Demogorgon figure.

Hasbro says it is making this product available at most retailers nationwide — a wise move ahead of the Season 3 premiere of Stranger Things on Netflix this Independence Day. You can pre-order this special release now from Amazon (link supports this site but is not a paid endorsement).

If you can’t wait to get back into the D&D game or try it for the first time, the non-Stranger Things version of the Starter Set is also available now — and it’s rarely been cheaper (link supports this site but is not a paid endorsement).
