Yandere Dev, the developer of Yandere Simulator, posted a March progress update video on YouTube covering some of the updates and surprises coming up for the game, and why the character Osana is being delayed on being implemented into the game.

Yandere Simulator is a PC game featuring a Japanese schoolgirl on a mission to win the heart of her love, Senpai. She will do whatever it takes to win his affection, even if it means hurting or killing a rival student. This game has been in the works for a very long time and still has a ways to go, but the developer always keeps the fans up to date on the latest features of the game.

Yandere Dev left a poll for fans to answer whether they want Osana to be finished within the game first, or would they rather have the new maid café mini game featured in the game first. This new mini game that is coming up is in a sprite style and creates a way for Yandere Chan to earn money that she otherwise would not be able to get. However, the finished product of Osana will mean a crucial character in the game will finally be implemented and fully functional.

It seems that a lot of new surprise features will be implemented very soon, according to Yandere Dev. However, he is not revealing what all of these new features will be as he wants to make it a mystery and leave it as a surprise.

A while back, Yandere Dev made a video discussing his work hours and how he seemed to be working too many and didn’t get enough time to relax and enjoy himself. With the loads of support he received after that video, he took the fan’s advice and knocked a couple hours off of his work schedule. He hopes to get into a routine he is comfortable with to make the development of Yandere Simulator go as quick as possible.

The concept art for the environments and characters in the game is well on its way, and the functions of the club leaders is currently being worked on. Hopefully, they will be fully functional soon. Yandere Dev would also like to change the functions of some of the traps that Yandere Chan to do to other students, such as electrocution and spilling water on them.

The final main note that Yandere Dev discussed was the character design of the students. He would like to change their art style and their proportions a bit, so the characters would be less limited in their design. That is also something to look forward to.

All of these new updates that are coming up are delaying the progress of Osana; however, if the fans vote in the poll that they would like Osana to be implemented into the game first, then the release of Osana will come even sooner.

Yandere Simulator has lots of updates on its way, and they are coming fast. Any fan of this game will be excited for all of the rapid updates and thrilling surprises coming up in the near future.
