Fresh on the heels of confirming a long-awaited drop in the price of its Wii game console, Nintendo is offering free downloadable games to anyone who buys a DSi handheld system by Oct. 5.
Actually, what they’re doing is crediting you 1,000 Nintendo DSi Points, so you need a DSi Shop account and access to a wireless broadband connection to take advantage of the deal.
The company also announced Thursday that its Wii game Wii Sports Resort, which currently sells for $50 and includes a MotionPlus accessory, would go up in price by $10 on Oct. 12 — but it will now include two MotionPlus units. Score!
