New Resident Evil 6 trailer shows off more than zombies

Classic Dungeons & Dragons back in print! - Available now @ Dungeon Masters Guild

Capcom recently dropped a brand new trailer to the YouTube masses for their upcoming game Resident Evil 6 (caution: does feature a few grisly zombies and deaths). The video, which is labeled as an RE6 “Horror trailer,” not only shows off the zombie staple of the franchise, but delves into more suspenseful moments with a few hints at newer creepy crawlies to fight.

The trailer begins by showing off a small part of Leon’s adventure that was featured in the recent RE6 demo, as well as footage of the mounting zombie infestation, before switching gears and showing off a few of Chris’ cut scenes. Among the footage is a metallic, needle-wielding creature, as well as a giant snake-like creature that will remind many of the first Resident Evil game.

Resident Evil 6 is a survival horror game that will be released on October 2 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to Capcom, there will be a PC version of the game released, but an official date has not yet been given.
