Jim WardJim Ward, a former LucasArts and Lucasfilm executive who unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination to challenge Democrat Harry Mitchell in this year’s congressional race, has been named interim president and CEO of the Phoenix Symphony.

Ward was part of the Lucas Empire for more than 10 years, managing the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises and also overseeing the release of the Star Wars Battlefront, LEGO Star Wars and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed video games.
