Del Taco is serving up free trials of Star Trek Online, the RPG set for release Feb. 2. “Macho”-sized beverages will be served in a limited-edition Star Trek collector’s cup with a peel-off label containing a code redeemable for a 48-hour free trial. You can redeem a maximum of four codes to get an extra 48 hours of access, totaling a possible 10 full days of free play in the Final Frontier.
If you decide to purchase Star Trek Online after your free trial ends, you’ll get a free “Type-8 Shuttle” to go with your starship in the game.
“Early response to Star Trek Online has been tremendous,” said Jim Wilson, CEO and president of Atari, which owns the game’s developer, Cryptic Studios. “Our partnership with Del Taco brings this unique sci-fi massively open online game to an even broader mainstream audience as well as avid Star Trek fans.”
