Capcom’s upcoming title “Dead Rising 2” will appeal to gamers who like stimulating … articles.
The sequel to 2006’s survival-horror hit, due out later this year on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC platforms, will feature content from Playboy magazine that offers special “upgrades” to the main character, Chuck Greene. The game has a magazine system that offers bonuses to help fend off the zombie hordes, which is similar to the book system from the original “Dead Rising” game.
“The Sin City-type environment in Dead Rising 2, Fortune City, is a natural playground for the Playboy Bunnies,” said Seon King, Capcom’s senior director of licensing, in a statement. “We have integrated the Playboy brand throughout the game in ways that bring even more life to Fortune City and add to the user experience.”
There will also be ads and billboards throughout the game that feature select issues from the iconic men’s magazine’s 57-year run.
