Disney Afternoon making a console comeback from Capcom

Can’t get your hands on a NES Classic? This may be the next best thing if you’re craving some old-school, 2-D platforming action — with anthropomorphic animals a la Disney.

On April 18, Capcom will release The Disney Afternoon Collection for $20 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

The six games — DuckTales and DuckTales 2, Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers and its sequel, Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin — are remastered for 1080p display with special retro graphic filters available, and include enhancements such as Boss Rush and Time Attack modes plus in-game museums to add to the nostalgia trip, and death-cheating rewinds, according to Kotaku.

In this age of the duck renaissance, this bundle will be a must-have for many players, new and old — even if, like me, they picked up DuckTales Remastered (possibly on multiple consoles) …
