Who says we have to put away childish things just because we’re men and women now? Let’s exalt them instead. Exalt, I say!
So, now that that’s decided: Will the Transformers trounce the Care Bears, or will they walk off arm-in-arm toward the sunset of super-stardom? Will Dungeons & Dragons take its place in the firmament along with Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots, or will the simplicity of the swing, coloring books and bubble wrap win the day? Those are just a few of the possibilities awaiting the 2016 National Toy Hall of Fame, which will induct two or three of these finalists Nov. 10; aside from those mentioned above, candidates for inclusion also include the board game Clue, Fisher-Price Little People, Nerf balls, pinball games, and the card game Uno.
