PHOENIX – In the Star Wars universe, Coca-Cola does exist!
The company has partnered with Disney on themed drinks at the new Star Wars lands in Disneyland and Walt Disney World.
The drinks are standard Coca-Cola products when it’s all said and done, but the packaging is out of this world. Your basic Coke will be completely transformed, coming in bottles meant to look like droids.
Bottle prototypes took three years to design. They come complete with a rusted/scuffed appearance.
Drink labels will be written in the iconic Star Wars language, Aurebesh.
Reaction to the new drinks has been positive among Star Wars fans. Fans are feeling even more excited about the long-awaited theme park to open.
Some fans have noticed a striking similarity in bottle design. In fact, some compared the bottles to Coke’s Christmas-themed bottles.
You might be thinking, fancy bottles + Disney = $$$. The cost of the drinks have yet to be announced, but that hasn’t stopped fans from predicting the price.
The drinks will be available when Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Disneyland on May 31 and August 29 at Walt Disney World.
