By JR Cardenas

PHOENIX – Traveling to Japan isn’t cheap. . .until now. Cutie is a store in north Phoenix that brings Japan’s delicious treats and toys to you, and the best part is, everything is under $1.50.

“People get excited when they first hear about our store because they get to see the products that they had over there now so close to home,” said Theresa Loompe, store manager.

For those of us who have been lucky enough to travel to or live in Japan, that’s just the case. But for the rest of us, it’s the closest we’re going to get.

“We have a lot of Japanese people here in Arizona, and now you don’t have to go all the way to California or Japan, we bring it to you.” said Loompe.

Most of their product line is Daiso Japanese products, which is the largest product maker in Japan.
