Official trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight shows off new batmobile

For fans of the Batman Arkham series of videogames, Warner Brothers games dropped their brand new trailer for their latest title Batman: Arkham Knight. The game is an apparent close to the Arkham branded series started off by Rocksteady with Batman: Arkham Asylum.

The new trailer dubbed ‘From Father to Son’ features Gotham in turmoil, which is business as usual for Batman these days. Resident baddies such as Two-Face, the Penguin, and Harley Quinn are seen assaulting police officers in the streets overrun with thugs, as a narration plays of Thomas Wayne reading his last will and testament to his son Bruce.

The trailer doesn’t give many hints as to who the main villain will be other than a brief voice over in the beginning telling Gotham residents to flee the city.

No actual game play was featured in the trailer, but the title will apparently allow players to drive the Batmobile for the first time in the Arkham series. The game will reportedly be released for PC, Xbox One, and PS4, as confirmed on the PlayStation Blog. Check out the trailer below and see for yourself:
